Gold Slag Acrylic Fiberglass (600° F)

This Goldenglass material provides superior resistance to abrasion and it is one of our most popular welding blanket materials. At a 45° angle, it will protect you from molten splatter as well as grinding, sparks, and abrasion. It is excellent for the majority of welding applications, but it is not suggested for horizontal use and is FM Approved and rated to the ANSI/FM4950 standard. This material is gold and comes in 35 mil thickness and 24 oz weight. The base fabric is fiberglass and then coated with acrylic to provide better puncture and tear resistance.
