Black Slag Fiberglass (1100° F)

This fabric is superior for use in tough welding blanket applications and has an acrylic coating. When it lies at a 45° or larger angle, it can shed molten splatter that reaches temperatures up to 1100° F. It also provides protection from sparks and grinding, and it is highly resistant to abrasion. As a curtain, it can be used for light to medium sparks; as a blanket, it can be used for medium sparks. This material comes in 35 mil thickness and 24 oz weight. The color is black, and it can be used for welding curtains, blankets, and screens. This welding blanket fabric should not be used for stress relief or heat treating. This fabric is also available in 40" wide roll goods.
