A water resistant cotton canvas tarp and cover may shrink over time. All cotton canvas tarps and covers will shrink. The exact amount of shrinkage is impossible to accurately predict.
These tarps are cut size and finish slightly smaller in size, approximately 6” to 8" smaller than the dimensions given after hems and seams are created.
Water resistant canvas tarps are not waterproof. For waterproof tarps, please research our waterproof vinyl tarps or waterproof poly tarps.
Canvas tarps are non-trailerable. For trailer tarps, please consider vinyl tarps.
The 16 oz water resistant Canvas tarps are recommended for outdoor use only. They are treated and can leave stains and initially have an odor.
Canvas tarps are not recommended for hanging as temporary walls, room dividers, replacement canopy tops, canopy sidewalls, tent roofs, tent sidewalls, building structure roofs, sidewalls, or curtains. For these application please use our vinyl tarps.
