Tarps Now offers a 16 ounce per square foot Non-Reinforced Mass Loaded Vinyl that aides in resisting sound waves and reducing airborne noise. The heavy duty .100" thick noise barrier material is an extremely flexible product that is ideal for applying directly to the noise source or to the housing covering the noise supply.
This fabric is resistant to oils, acids, alkalis, and tough environmental conditions. It will not shrink, rot, or cause metal corrosion. Our Non-Reinforced Mass Loaded Vinyl can accompany acoustical foams, glass fiber, ceramic fiber, or mineral wool insulation to create a lightweight and valuable combination with high transmission reduction over a wide frequency range. It has a STC 27 rating.
