Our Reinforced Clear Poly Tarp is specially designed with three layers. This Plastic Tarp contains two sheets of polyethylene film along with one layer made up of molten polyethylene. The polyethylene film is extremely strong, and all three layers are laminated to one another. Furthermore, the Clear Tarp incorporates a heavy duty scrim reinforcement, which lies between the plies. This adds to the longevity of the Cover and it increases the strength against tearing. Finally, another heavy duty reinforcement is made of white diamond string acting to surround any tears that do appear and prohibits them from spreading.

The Heavy Duty Clear Poly Tarps are 10 Mil (0.010”) thick and have a material weight of 7 ounces per square yard. They are 100 percent waterproof and resist UV rays, acid, rot, and mildew along having Arctic temperature flexibility. These Poly Tarps are not totally transparent, they possess milky views. The Plastic Tarps have #2 (3/8” ID) brass grommets fitted in the hems approximately 24 inches apart around the entire perimeter. They are available in dozens of sizes that range from 5’ X 15 to 120’ X 120.” These are finished size covers, the size you see is the size you get (+/- 2”). They are ideal for a wide variety of uses including tent tarps, camping tarps, construction enclosures, divider curtains, shelter covers, railroad car tarps, scaffolding tarps, and equipment covers.
