Sometimes there is nothing that you can do about the snow once Mother Nature decides it is time for some of the ice crystals to fall. On a jobsite, in the yard, or in the field this snow stuff can be anywhere from an inconvenience to a safety risk. Snow Tarps can be a help in countering the effects of snow and removing it from important areas and structures.
Snow Tarps are constructed from heavy duty 18 oz PVC Vinyl material. They have two-inch high strength seat belt webbing around the entire perimeter in an “X” pattern crossing the middle. The four corners are reinforced containing webbing loops for lifting purposes with these Construction Tarps.
Using Snow Tarps
The Snow Tarps are to be placed on the surface that is to be kept clean of snow. Once the snow accumulates, lift the tarp with a crane equally utilizing the four corner loops. The job sites are easily kept clean saving down time along with labor time and injuries caused by snow shoveling.
These heavy duty tarps can be used on the ground, flat structures, and roofs. The cost savings and safety that the Snow Tarps provide quickly generates a valuable return on investment.
Safety First
Snow Tarps are for use with fresh fallen snow only. The webbing must be facing downward when using. These should never be administered to lift debris, equipment, or any type of supplies. Always make sure that there are no personnel under these Snow Tarps that are being lifted. When not in use, protect them from direct sunlight. Inspect Snow Tarps thoroughly before each lift for any wear or damage and never use if areas of concern are found.
