SUPER DUTY POLY TARPS

Tarps Now Super Heavy-Duty PolyTarps utilize a 10oz fabric that is ideal for such applications as building enclosures,alternate daily landfill covers, membrane structures. Extremely abrasion and UV resistant.

Being a full 20 MILS thick, the fabric used in Tarps Now Super Duty Poly Tarps is the strongest poly available, and it is also available in a flame retardant version. These super duty poly tarps are manufactured as Full, Finished Size Tarps. They also contain brass grommets in corners and spaced approx. 24" around perimeter and are all Made in USA.

FAQ

It is very important to tie down, secure your tarp in protecting what it is covering. Grommets (eyelets) are metal covers inserted in most tarps to secure the holes around the perimeter, in the hems. These are used to help tie down your tarp with a host of items including rope/cord, rubber straps, bungee balls, zip ties, hooks, and fasteners. As tight as possible without putting stress on the tarp, connect it to the surface or structure with the items mentioned.

Grommets or eyelets are most often metal along with rubber or plastic that cover/reinforce the holes in the perimeter of the tarps, covers, and curtains. These are intended to be used to tie down, secure the tarp to the surface or structure with rope/cord, rubber straps, bungee balls, zip ties, hooks, or fasteners. Use every grommet in this process if possible, to prevent material stress. The grommets are spaced to provide a safe amount of tension when tied down.

Grommets can be easily and safely be added to tarps and covers with Grommet Tool Kits and even easier with Tarp Clips, which only require the use of a hammer to insert.
