Aluminum Fiberglass (1000° F/ 300° F)

This material, used for heat reflective curtains and shields, comes with two different sides. The fiberglass side can handle temperatures up to 1000° F and is very resistant to abrasion. The aluminum foil side can withstand temperatures up to 300° F and is utilized in cases where heat must be reflected. The material consists of 18oz of fiberglass and a thin layer of aluminum foil that is laminated. The thickness is 35 mil and the color is silver/tan. It is often used as a flange or vapor shield or for removable insulation pads. It is resistant to most solvents, acids and alkali (not hydrofluoric acid).
